I'm a fan of games that require quick thinking and reward knowledge both arcane and banal, so it's natural that I'd enjoy Outburst. This board game confronts a player with a category - American-made cars, perhaps, or planets, or seasons, or famous dogs - and asks that player to name the ten answers within that category that are printed on a card monitored by an opponent. But wait! you may cry. Seasons? Sure - winter, spring, summer, fall, football, Christmas, hunting...you get the idea.
The strategy, of course, is to do some thinking and a lot of guessing, as no penalties exist for wrong answers. So throw it all against the wall, baby, and see what sticks!
